Maple Phone, calling mother nature

You are looking at what could quite possibly be the greenest cellphone concept ever thought up by a designer to date. It’s called the Maple phone, and is supposedly made out of thin wooden film that has backlighting and many touch-sensitive buttons.

The Maple phone looks like an ordinary candybar at first glance, but of course nothing about this phone is “ordinary” at all.

Measuring 4.5 x 10.4 x 9.8 cm, the Maple phone can slide to reveal a LCD screen that goes hand in hand with the capacitive touch body. It should be able to provide users with basic cellphone technology, as well as proof of inner nature-friendliness.

The Maple phone may not look like it’s one of the most durable phones ever, but it sure gives you that “I’m in love with Mother Nature” look more than anything.
